We start from your question
Questionnaire, history, daily difficulties and family or adult goals.
Neurocta integrated program
Difficulties in a child or adult rarely stem from a single function. We therefore do not start with a standard set of exercises. First we create an individual functional profile, and when appropriate — complement it with 19‑channel qEEG and sLORETA data. Only then do we select therapy directions, intensity, and progress metrics.
Questionnaire, history, daily difficulties and family or adult goals.
We assess interrelated functions of movement, sensory processing, attention, speech, cognition and daily activities.
When justified, we perform 19-channel qEEG brain activity analysis, but we do not evaluate data separately from human function.
We choose only therapy directions and their sequence needed for that person. The program is not copied by diagnosis or age.
We monitor functional changes, therapists' data and family feedback. If a direction is not working as expected, we adjust the plan.
ASSESSMENT AND THERAPY METHODS
We first assess how the person moves, performs daily tasks and what difficulties they face. Assessment data help select the therapy direction and specific progress measures.
By age and reason for referral we assess posture, movement control, coordination, balance, sensory processing, attention and activities of daily living. When appropriate, primitive reflex signs are included in the assessment.
Explanation of results, functional priorities, individualized therapy plan and recommendations. We link progress to daily tasks and agreed goals.
More about neurofunctional assessment →PRIMITIVE REFLEXES
Primitive reflexes are early automatic motor responses of development. When assessing them, we consider age, movement quality and a broader functional profile.
A mere reflex sign does not explain all difficulties and is not a separate diagnosis. It is important to assess its relationship to specific tasks: maintaining posture, movement coordination, play or independent activity.
When a link to functional difficulties is identified, we select tasks for movement, posture control and coordination. We verify their benefit by changes in everyday activities, not only by a reflex test result.
Therapy goals and tasks are selected individually based on the full assessment.
DNS METHODOLOGY
DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) – a physiotherapy approach based on developmental kinesiology principles. It focuses on breathing, trunk stabilization, support and coordination between movements.
Individually selected developmental positions and movement tasks are used. The specialist helps coordinate breathing, body position and support, adjusts the load and monitors movement quality.
DNS principles may be included when assessment shows a need to work on posture, trunk stability or movement control. Method choice depends on age, abilities and the individual plan.
About physiotherapy →Neurofunctional assessment, reflex evaluation and DNS are not mutually replacing services. Assessment helps understand need, and therapy methods are selected for specific goals. In progress reviews we discuss what changes in daily life and whether the plan needs adjustment.
